Professional History

Prior to joining Longwood Pediatrics, Rachel has practiced clinical social work and case management in outpatient, community outreach, and school settings with various populations and diagnoses. She is experienced in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and Recovery Concepts. Additionally, Rachel is fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

My goal is to treat patients from a strength-based and empathic holistic approach. By listening carefully and being fully attuned, I advocate and create a safe non-judgmental space for patients and their families. I provide resources and tools to support them to build emotional resiliency in order to manage crisis, overcome barriers, and promote growth.
